markers 62-63, between Long Key and Grassy Key.
Reference
Gerdes, in his "Reconnaissance of the Florida
Reefs and All the Keys", (1849) states: "The first
islands between Duck Key and Long Id. (Vipar Kay,
chart) are named Conch Keys."
