Pumpkin Key (I)

Scope Note:

A U.S. Army report written In 1857 by Capt. Abner Doubleday (of baseball legend) during the 3rd Seminole War uses this name. Visited in 1908 by ornithologist Frank M. Chapman.

Located in Card Sound, just off the bayshore of Key Largo.
