Pavilion Key

Scope Note:

This Key was visited in 1885 by Charles Wm. Pierce in his boat Bonton. It was the site of much agricultural and commercial activity in the nineteenth century.

Geographic Location:

Located off the west coast of mainland Florida, just north of the mouth of the Chatham River.
