Once known as Little Duck Key. Named Ohio Key during the building of the Flagler Railroad by workers from that state. Also known today as Sunshine Key, after a camping resort located here.

Geographic Location:

 

U.S. Highway 1 crosses key at approximately mile marker 39, between Missouri Key and Bahia Honda Key.
