Visited in 1885 by Charles William Pierce in his boat, the Bonton.

Geographic Location:

Located 3.5 miles due north of U.S. Highway 1 at Bahia Honda Channel.

Gerdes, in his "Reconnaissance of the Florida Reefs and all the Keys" (1849) states: "The group of Islands N.W. of the S. of Big Bahia Honda Key is named the Little Pine Islands."
