This key is the site of the archaeological remains of an early campsite which is believed to have been occupied by Spaniards salvaging one or more of the 1733 shipwrecks.

Geographic Location:

 

Located just offshore of Key Vaca on the bayside less than one-half mile southwest of the northernmost tip of Stirrup Key.
