Little Crawl Key

Scope Note:

 

A field report written for the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey in 1935-36 states: "Local authorities sometimes refer to this key as Little Crawl Key or Crawl Key Mangrove. As there is little navigation In the area there is probably no established name and the (first) name is recommended as being as good as any." Little Crawl Key became a state park in 1992. (Curry Hammock Park).

Geographic Location:

 

Connected to U.S. Highway 1, at approximately mile marker 56.25, by a fill and culvert, between Crawl Key (I) and Long Point Key.
